Provision of healthcare services is a key issue for Governments, Employers and Citizens around the world.

Treatments continue to develop improving the outcome for millions of people but at an additional cost to the funder. People are living longer increasing the demand for services for the elderly. Regulation is changing the face of the industry in an attempt to improve services but at the same time, contain costs.

In many parts of the world this has led to an expansion of private healthcare, whether this being caused by the right to choose the provider or simply because the world’s wealthiest citizens elect for private treatment when, where and from who they want to receive it.

LCUK has worked with some healthcare providers using classic consumer loyalty techniques in order to understand their patients better and to improve the way that they communicate.

In many situations patients have little or no choice in what treatment they receive and from whom. But for some markets there is a very wide choice, we refer specifically to private healthcare services. Here patients can choose the treatment, choosing who they receive it from, where and when.
